About Our Client:

Our client is a leader in the data management revolution, specializing in Master Data Management (MDM) as a top-tier Microsoft partner. They are dedicated to empowering organizations to harness the full potential of their data, driving critical decision-making, innovation, and substantial growth.

Role Overview:

As an Account Executive, you are a crucial member of the Sales team. You will collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Partners to own the complete Sales cycle from qualification to close of our Market Leading Data Management solution to drive value for our customers. There are a number of inbound leads, but we are looking for a true hunter for this position. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and influence within the company and industry, especially through close collaboration with the C-Suite to help drive significant revenue.

This position is based on territory, and can be based anywhere as long as you are willing to travel as needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Own the development of your sales pipeline, strategically leveraging relationships, collaborations, and resources from our client's Marketing, BDR team, Partners, and Microsoft.
  • Regularly coordinate with internal and external teams to drive and manage high-yield opportunities.
  • Manage a list of approximately 200 targeted accounts within your territory, focusing on both penetrating top-tier accounts and nurturing existing ones.
  • Deliver creative account-based marketing initiatives for key accounts in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Deepen your expertise in data management to effectively convey our client's unique business value.
  • Establish and foster strong relationships within Microsoft’s business applications and Data & AI teams.
  • Create significant value during the sales cycle, establishing a "give to get" relationship and expanding touchpoints within accounts.
  • Assist prospects in articulating the business value of solutions to their leadership.
  • Act as the quarterback for each opportunity, leading your team with strategic insights to win deals.
  • Ensure precision in your pipeline management and deliver consistent revenue by understanding deal timing and velocity.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Achiever Pattern: Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed quotas by focusing on actual results rather than mere activity metrics.
  • Proven track record in selling business-oriented applications or tools B2B, with deal sizes around $150k and a sales cycle of 4-9 months.
  • Value Selling and Executive Presence: Strong ability to articulate real-world business values across various industries.
  • Desire for Expertise: A proactive interest in becoming a subject matter expert in MDM, with a solid understanding of modern IT architectures.
  • Coachability and Emotional Intelligence: Must engage effectively with VP and C-level executives and act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating a real hunter mentality and comfort with generating their pipeline.
